Join us as together we make history – or more correctly – His Story.
Mason Valley Baptist Church was founded in 1879 and named after a section of Benton County which received its name from the 19th century Mason family farm located in this area. Generations have worshiped at the church. It was once part of the Mason Valley community which grew up around it.
It’s long been a country church, with the grand old traditions of venerable hymns, close fellowship, and Bible preaching and teaching.
Of course, no one travels any more by foot or horses to Mason Valley Baptist Church. Rather, we now see jetliners coming and going at Northwest Arkansas National Airport two miles away. And big trucks pass by our front door as they service nearby Walmart distributions centers.
Some might say it’s a different world.
But not really.
As Highfill and surrounding areas grow, Mason Valley Baptist Church is making the transition from being a country church to a neighborhood church.
Such change is inevitable. But we’re keeping the time-honored ways of country-folk fellowship, and classic hymns and gospel songs, some of which are older than Mason Valley Baptist Church itself.
And we hold to a gospel that’s much older than that. And that’s what we preach and teach – Bible truths simply explained in all their majesty and glory.
Each person at Mason Valley Baptist Church shapes its story. We welcome your story to become part of ours.
